My Busy Boy

 One morning last weekend Dane is off playing outside while I'm busy with the usual house chores and attending to Olive.  I hear him coming in and out of  the house assembling items. "Mom, I need a pillow."  "Mom, Where's my computer?" Etc.  After awhile I went out to see what he was up to and found this. He'd  pulled his wagon under  a shade tree and made himself comfortable.



Then he requested that I make him a sandwich and deliver it to his "house".



This boy is ALWAYS up to something. ALWAYS.

Country Kids

This boy goes full throttle from the time his eyes open in the morning. He can be exhausting. This is what I found him doing at 8am.

This is what country kids do for fun.

 

Then he thinks..... Let's put Olive in the wagon too! My first reaction was "NO, I don't think that's a good idea. She could get hurt."  He was relentless and since it was only 8am and I only had 1 cup of coffee in me I agreed to let her ride.  Here's what happened:

Is it just me or is she looking alittle scared in this picture? I feel as if she's looking at me and thinking "Really Mom, Your gonna let this happen?!"

After this I went to take her out of the wagon and noticed she had pooped. I told Dane that he must of scared the poop right out of her which he thought was hysterical.

Friday Family Funday!

We had been wanting to take Dane to Kings Island for awhile now. He's tall enough to ride quite a few rides. Brad had a day off where the weather was good so we decided to give it a try.

We had so much fun and I loved to get to experience these things with Dane.  

Bumper Cars. Dane was cracking us up because instead of bumping into the other cars he would just drive around them.

Dane practically rode every ride 2x. I would take a turn and Brad would hold Olive. Then Brad took a turn and I held Olive. The system worked quite well. We ALL had fun!

While waiting for the boys Olive and I rode a little train. It was pretty boring really and she almost fell asleep. 

Lots of Snoopy character's roaming around. Who is this anyway? Frankin? We're not really Snoopy fans.
