Swimmin

We went swimming monday afternoon at Scott's Pool. We stayed in the baby pool section. It was the first time Dane's been swimming since last year. He really liked it.

Birch Bark Canoe Trip

We went on a canoe trip with friends on Saturday.

Dane did so well. He really enjoyed paddling and swimming!

Veggies

My garden is doing pretty well with a few exceptions. The garlic isn't doing so well and the sugar snap peas, which were once doing the best of all are now starting to break off about 6 inches up. Which I'm ultra upset about since they have started to get pods on them. I just don't now what is wrong with them or what to do.

Swim Ready

I picked up Dane a swimsuit today with the life-vest built in for using at the pool or for the canoe trip that we might take this coming weekend. Anyways, tried it on when we got home and it's hilarious, but he loves it. He was wearing it all over the house and he cried when I took it off.

Lovely Sunday

We met at the Peterson's for lunch on Sunday.
It was a lovely afternoon.

Dinner Date

Our friend Jen came over yesterday to take our family pics and 18th month pics of Dane. Afterwards, her husband Sean and daughter Taylor met up with us for dinner and playtime.

After all the games we roasted some marshmallows over a campfire and made some smores. We had a great time! I think Dane was wore out, he's still sleeping and it's 9:30am. He's normally up at 8. It might have something to do with running all over the yard trying to avoid having his pictures taken too. I know we got some good ones, Thanks again Jen.

Dirtstache

Dane has really latched onto our pie-irons and he carries them all over the yard. Well, he'd been playing with them all day and managed to somehow get the black on his upper lip. It's a

dirt-stache!

Sandbox Fun

Dane has really been having a good time in his sandbox. He's come quite a long way in the last few days and will put his feet and hands into the sand. He likes me to bury them and he says "Where'd they go, where'd they go?" and then pulls them out and smiles. Today, another breakthrough, he actually sat in the sand instead of the side seats!

Birthdays

Today we had a birthday party at Trena's house for Randi, Mom and I. All our birthdays are in the same week, so we had a joint party.
