For the 1st time I made Dane 'ants on a log' for snack time. How embarrassing that he's almost 4 and I've never made this for him! It's mostly because I HATE celery and I NEVER cook with it so it's not in the house. However, I did recently decide to buy some for a recipe and it did turn out pretty good.
So with the leftover celery I decided to make 'ants on a log' for Dane.
He wasn't so sure about it. Here he is with a furrowed brow putting on the ants (raisins)
Deciding to finally take a bite after some persuasion.
He LOVED it :)
Especially when he'd snap into the celery and the juice from it splashed out to hit me!
I LOVE ants on a log. Can we have some the next time I come visit?
