The Zoo!

Today Dane and I went to the zoo with Jen and Taylor. My camera batteries died about halfway through so I didn't get many pics. Guess that's what I get for not being prepared. We had tons of fun though!

This next video clip is of the lion. He seemed slightly disgruntled this morning. First he sprayed some pee on the fence in front of us, then he started doing this sort of huffing and puffing. Probably doesn't have the same effect on camera but in person it was kinda scary. They don't call him king of the jungle for nothing!

Spring

My favorite time of year is when the daffodils bloom. These line our driveway. Who can be grumpy when you see these everyday?

Seedlings

I've decided to plant a veggie garden this year and planted some seeds in a mini greenhouse. I planted garlic chives, cherry tomatoes, brandywine heirloom tomatoes, and watermelon. Everything sprouted up in a week, except the watermelon. They are still a no-show 2 weeks in.
