Happy Fall Ya'll

My favorite time of the year is here! I LOVE fall. Everything about it! The weather has been perfect. The leaves are starting to change and there is tons of fun fall activites to do every weekend.

Last weekend we went to the Zoo for their Fall Festival. Today we're headed to Wenger's Produce for their Fall Family Fun day. We'll do our annual pumpkin picking as well today.

I'm super excited for a date night with my husband tonight. We haven't been out without one or both of the kids in quite awhile and we're needing it pretty bad. So much thanks to our family for taking the little monsters tonight so we can keep some of little sanity we have left.

Olive @ 15mths

Oh, What a doll! She steals my heart. She's all sorts of sweet. Cuddly and kissable with a touch of attitude and I just LOVE her!

Olive had her 15 month well baby. Alittle late really, she's almost 16 months now. Anyway she was 32" inches tall putting her in the 80th % for her age and only 20.6lbs which puts her in the 10th % for her age. Geez. Here we go again with the long and lean story. I swear I feed my children! All day they eat and eat. Not much else I can do. They are happy, healthy extremely active children and just fine. I will not be sending them in for blood work or testing. That's crazy.

I just keep remembering what our favorite Dr. told us years ago about Dane (p.s. he moved outta state and we had to switch. Boo :( Side note, he was pretty handsome too) Anyway, He said and I quote "I have NO reason to be worried about his weight or pay any attention to percentiles. Clearly the nutrients his body takes in go towards making him tall and not towards weight."

HELLO. Thank you. Miss you Dr. Johnson!!

Game 3

Dane's team is getting better and better every game. It's not nearly as terrible to watch. This game was a pretty good match up. We won 2-1 and Dane scored another goal!

It's About That Time

We love fall around here. The weather has started to turn cooler in the evenings which means CAMPFIRES!

Campfires mean SMORES!

Dane's cousin's came to enjoy the smores too!

Boys Will Be Boys

And boys will get MUDDY!

We got just enought rain last week that our little "pond" turned into a big mud hole. So what's a boy to do? Take his fourwheeler mud running!

There was nothing coming from this boy but evil bouts of laughter.

Goodbye :(

The girls. G-ma B, Brenda, Bre, Olive & Jenny

We had a little goodbye party at our house Saturday for Joel, Bre and baby Hollis. They are moving about 6 -7 hours away for a new job opportunity in about a week. We will miss them terribly. I'm sure they will be back often and we can visit so it's not a forever goodbye. Just a might not see you as frequently goodbye :(

Soccer Games

Dane's had 2 soccer games so far. The first one was in West Liberty against BOSS. It was awful. We got murdered. MURDERED! Something to learn from though.

The second game was against another Zanefield team. It went MUCH better this time. Almost each person on Dane's team scored a goal. Including Dane! Fantastic. He was so excited! I think we may have won but I'm not sure of the final score.

Here they are at the end of the game giving the "good game" high five to the other team. How cute!

Zoo Day with Mommy

I decided to take the kids to the Zoo Monday morning. Whenever it's a weekday that I'm not working and the weather is Sunny and 70 degrees my first thought is ALWAYS.....Let's take the kids to the zoo! Both were well behaved and we had a great time.

Ha! This cracks me up.
Dane with in disguise with his hat and sunglasses.

Checking out the flamingo's.

How is it that I've never seen this GIANT gorilla statue before!?

A good opportunity to let Olive out to stretch her legs and play.

Dane took this. I'm always impressed when our heads aren't cut off.

Campout On The Hill

Saturday was the annual Campout on the Hill at our neighbors house. We don't campout there. Seems silly to be uncomfortable in a tent when we could be sleeping in our cozy beds just 2 doors down.  We do however hang out there most of the day.

The view from the top.

Bradly & Olive

Oh Olive, Must I get the stink eye almost every time I try to take your picture?  P.S. This expression is mine. Yikes. This apple didn't fall far from my attitude tree that's for sure.

Not Far From The Tree

This apple didn't fall far from the tree at all.
This is what I found Dane doing last weekend.

* Dane's first soccer game was cancelled due to rain. Bummer. I had him already to go too. He looks so cute in his uniform. The game was rescheduled for Tues evening.

1st Day

Dane had his last 1st day of preschool on Thursday. Much thanks to my dad who helps me out by being Dane's taxi to and from preschool while I'm at work. I was able to take some time out of my work day to meet them over there. Much thanks as well to my boss who is so flexible and understanding.

These 2 are quite the pair. Thick as thieves.

Dane was excited to have several kids from last years class in with his this year. These 2 paired up really quickly.

Circle time and a review of the rules in the classroom.

Everyone's favorite time. Snack time!

Luke and Dane patiently waiting for the goodies.

*Alot going on this week. Tomorrow we have Dane's 1st soccer game on tap! We picked up his jersey yesterday. Stayed tuned for pics of the cuteness that is Dane all geared up for his game.
